In that link, the aggressive part is in bold, whereas the lower your standards part is not. Try asking.

Pool Boys are often submissive and hope (desperately) sex will find them. Realize that passiveness will not hook the horny girls you desire. A bolder approach and sheer repetition will.

Well, just today my thesis advisor was complaining that I was setting "higher hurdles" for myself than he was. Weird coincidence.

And duh, I know passiveness doesn't get the chicks. But that part's much easier to change than lowering my standards.

It's amusing how similar that image is to one of your userpics. (Yes, those are horns and not big ears, but you don't have any rabbit-ear userpics.) And since when are you "selectively moral"?
