I just created an account on Goodreads.com, so now you can see just how ridiculously few books I read (I added all four books I've read this year, plus the one I'm currently reading, which doesn't show up in the widget below because that's a different "shelf"). Please add me as a friend there so I can envy your reading ability!

But I want to read books, I don't want to write book reviews. Besides, I might be embarrassed about the content. I suppose I wouldn't actually have to post about The Cat in the Hat... That kind of stuff probably accounts for 90% of the titles, but a much smaller percentage of the text. 99.9% of what I read is science fiction & fantasy, a fair percentage of it Young Adult.

How hard is it to track down the book you're reading so it'll make a nice little picture? Maybe I should see if it can find my current book as a test. (Bright and Shining Tiger by Claudia Edwards -- published in 1988, out of print for lo these many years. I got it at a library used book sale on a lark.)

You don't have to write reviews, you can just use it as a simple log of books read. (I added one or two sentences to each, basically just what I would say if someone at a party asked me "hey, what did you think of that book?") Your book is there.
