Davis's Megamaze this Sunday?

[livejournal.com profile] cthulhia usually goes to Davis's Megamaze in late October, when they give out Halloween candy at the bridges. But this year I think I want to go earlier, while the corn stalks are still tall and green. So who's up for going this Sunday? Note that this year they're reconfiguring the maze every day, so if you can't make it this weekend I may end up going back again later to see what's changed. There's also Larson's Haunted Maze in Connecticut in late October.

I think I would probably prefer to eat a decent brunch beforehand rather than doing the usual hamburger/hotdog thing once we get there. Anyone have a good suggestion for a brunch (or early lunch) eatery on the road between Somerville and Sterling?

Also, I usually go through the maze in a group of 2-4 people, and try to cross all the bridges. I think this time I want to do it solo first, simply from start to finish, then go in again, maybe with a group, to visit the bridges and other things I missed. But others may prefer to just go through once with a partner or three. We can work this out once we figure out who all's coming, but I just wanted to bring up the idea now.

i'd love to do something like this when i visit in October. if you're set on going back, or going to Larsen's. :)

i'm not sure where i'll be, other than in Woodstock at the Ren faire on the weekends, but i'll be *somewhere* in north-eastern CT/MA/Boston from Columbus Day until the next weekend. :)

saves me the hassle of sending out mail about it.
and... most of the brunch places I know of are around here, and mobbed on sundays, unless we went rather early.

Sounds like fun, but I think am going to see Blue Oyster Cult at Taste of Boston. I just found out about it this morning!

Sounds good.

Johnny D's opens at 9:00 and if you're there waiting when they open it's not too crowded yet. It's also fun to get to The Neighborhood by 7:00--no line!
