Francis Heaney (heaneyland) has been posting a series of "six things" comics/illustrations lately. Today's is the funniest yet.

Is there something about list-based comedy (Letterman's top ten lists, The Book of Ratings) that makes it easier to be funny, or is it just coincidence?

It gets all of the structure out of the way so you can just throw out jokes. Like a monologue without segues, or a comedy without the plot.
