Puzzled

Did my puzzles stump everyone, or did everyone miss the post because of the holidays? I thought it would be a good warm-up for the Hunt, but still no responses. Meanwhile I'm working on a semi-cryptic. (Caveats from the author: "I haven't written cryptics before" and "I expect a team using Google to solve the puzzle.")

I used the anagram server to answer the first one, but the others weren't as easy. So, yeah, I guess I was stumped, or, rather, found the reward not sufficiently interesting enough to be worth the effort.

Oops I did totally miss it. I think there's a good 2-3 weeks of LJ that I basically skipped. Damn work & damn holidays.
