I went to get my hair cut, for the first time in like 15 years. (I let it grow out in college, and then cut it myself after that.) I went to a real live barber shop, not a stylist or salon or "hair design" or anything like that. With a real barber pole and everything. It's been there since 1913. Anyway, the barber did a fine job, nothing fancy, didn't take much longer than the length of "American Pie" (the song, not the movie). Here's the before & after shots:

usually, you kept it out of your eyes.

but, it looks good either way. and probably dries a lot faster now.

Not that we ever get to see it much in the winter, when it's all hidden under your Jayne Hat. :)
