At long last, I have submitted a complete draft of my PhD dissertation to my committee. If you want to read it, you can download the PDF from the SourceForge project page; I am also planning to convert it to HTML in the near future. Or, you can just wait for the final revision after I get comments back from the committee. The defense will probably be in the first week of December.

I've also revised and reformatted my resumé, in both HTML and PDF. Comments welcome. (Same goes for the dissertation.)

Yay! I think you've been working on it as long as I've known you. :) I'm almost afraid to go look at it and see how huge it is.

Nah, you've known me since before grad school even. And I've actually only been working on the dissertation for about two and a half years; most of the time was spent trying to figure out a thesis to write about.

It's pretty short: 10 chapters, 99 pages including code figures and bibliography. But it will probably get longer, depending on what revisions my committee requests.

woo!

Congratulations. Just in time to watch those games and have multiple reasons to celebrate yourself to unconsciousness.

Let's finally have a drink sometime, when you feel like being social again.
