Old Republicans never die, they just fade away

Well, Ronald Reagan finally faded away. I don't have anything nice to say about him, so I'm just going to leave it at that. I just really hope the upcoming memorialization doesn't last too long, or get too revisionist. I'm not optimistic.

Update: I just thought of one good thing to say: Nancy Reagan supports stem cell research because it could help find a cure for Alzheimer's. I am surprised and impressed by her open-mindedness, and I hope she can coerce people who would otherwise never consider it because of their religious beliefs. But I'm still not optimistic.

Reaganomics will probably last a while longer... It seems Bush is becoming a supply-sider himself: cutting taxes during a war is just a boneheaded idea.
