I forgot to mention, this weekend I am attending the Brainwaves Festival 2008, a three-day concert at the Regent Theater in Arlington, MA, put on by Jon Whitney, the guy behind the Brainwashed music site. Last night was great: Meat Beat Manifesto, Silver Apples, Marissa Nadler, and JG Thirlwell's Manorexia. It's awesome to be able to sit down in a comfy theater chair for an event like this, not to mention not having to roadtrip like the last two three-day music festivals I went to! There are still plenty of tickets left ($45 for today, $20 for tomorrow, all general-admission so you can sit wherever you like) so if you're in the area and want to see some great live music, you should stop by.
