Days of Wonder is giving away free copies of Colosseum with purchases of $50 or more from their website in the next three days. I haven't played Colosseum, because I don't think I know anyone who owns it, but I've been wanting to try it—it's been compared to Princes of Florence, which I love, and I generally like games by Wolfgang Kramer, and it's gotten good reviews, so I was happy to pick this up along with the Ticket to Ride Card Game and Switzerland expansion. This deal is only available for registered owners of Days of Wonder games, but I have confirmed that I can take advantage of the deal multiples times, so I'd be happy to put in another order for you if you're interested and don't currently own any Days of Wonder games. In fact, if you want to buy less than $50 of stuff, I have other things I'd like to get, so we could combine orders and split the shipping. Let me know!

Pandemonium Books & Games (in Central Square, Cambridge, MA) is also having a three-day sale for store members: $15 store credit for every $100 of purchases. Becoming a store member is free; the usual deal is $25 store credit for every $250 of purchases. The new deal is retroactive, so if you've already made some purchases you can count them towards your $100. If you haven't been there lately, their euro-game selection is quite extensive these days, and I think they now sell DVDs too.

Any other good holiday sales going on?

That's a pretty nice deal, too bad I already own the games of theirs that I want to own. I'll just have to come play your copy, or Kevin's.

Since there's more than $50 worth of more stuff I want, I could just give you a copy of Colosseum for $6 (half the shipping cost) if you want it. Unless other people need my purchases to bring them up to $50...

Well, I figured since I was getting some games out of it too, it would be fair to split it. But I wouldn't turn down free shipping.

well since I'm really not contributing anything else to it, it's only fair.
