I finished uploading all my photos and videos from my trip to NY, as well as a few other things that had been backlogged (though I still haven't caught up with all of September let alone October). I'm pretty happy with Flickr; I held out for a long time for no good reason, but it really does have a lot of nice features, and it helps that everyone else is there too. Their video support is still a little half-assed, though: video quality is better than YouTube, but duration is limited to 90 seconds or less. Because of this, I've mostly been keeping my videos under 90 seconds, which is okay as a way to get across the gist of a live concert, but I also like to record full songs, or at least longer segments. I tried splitting up the longer videos into less-than-90-second chunks, but that's kind of a pain (and annoying to watch). So I started uploading videos to Vimeo, which is pretty nice: no duration limit, same size and quality as Flickr, plus it provides a download link for the original full-size video, which with my camera is 640x480 (compared to 500x375 for the streaming video). But now that I've used up my 3 albums and 500MB weekly upload limit, I'm a little hesitant to pay for a Plus account; $60/year seems a little high (compared to $25/year for a Flickr Pro account). What do you think of Vimeo? Is there another video site that's better and/or cheaper?

Here are a few highlights from the recent uploads:

Before you pay for Vimeo, you should figure out why some videos there never ever play for some people. I found it really frustrating to try to use Vimeo to show things to people.
