I pre-ordered Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows from Amazon.com months ago, but I used Super Saver Shipping so I wasn't expecting it to arrive until a few days after the release date. But no, it arrived on Saturday morning in the usual custom box:
I've been re-reading the series from the beginning in order to refresh my memory; I only started at the beginning of the month, though, so I just finished Order of the Phoenix and am about to start in on Half-Blood Prince. I've been able to avoid spoilers so far, but it might get tough if I'm not caught up by the weekend. Even the non-spoilery things people have been posting, like "book 7 is the best of the series", will affect how I read it, though, which is a little frustrating, but it's my own fault for not starting sooner (and forgetting just how long and heavy these books are).
