Of course, "Unforgiven" and "Nothing Else Matters" were already lullabies. But the sample clips for "Master of Puppets" and "...And Justice For All" are strangely affecting. There's a whole line of these albums: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, the Cure... No Einstürzende Neubauten yet, but give it time.

I've heard of this but haven't given it a lot of attention. I'm a big fan of Apocalyptica. Metallica (and other metal bands) played by four cellos. There are times when it feels like Metallica was writing for cello, but they only play guitars so they had to use guitars instead.
