The damage may not be where you think. The gutters are obvious, but it also means that the water from the ice at the gutters is likely to melt and get under the eaves.

I saw him prob'ly five years ago, and he was amazing. Most of what he covered was straight out of the three books, but it was great to hear him present it.

Ah, I saw on your resume "recent". I saw Tufte last week. I thought it was great; but since I heard so much buzz my expectations were a bit too high. Very worthwhile, though. (And getting the books, plus the booklet about the Congitive Style of PowerPoint, was worth the cost of admission alone!)

I had to pay for the Powerpoint booklet myself, but it was well worth the bucks.
