I finally gave in and got a LiveJournal account, mostly to stop being anonymous when I reply to my friends' posts. My main reason for holding out was that I have a lot of issues with the interface, but until I figure out how best to deal with them I might as well start generating my own content since I'll have to assimilate all my friends' existing content when I get to that point anyway.
I expect the content here will mostly be ideas (and questions) that I want to broadcast and/or record but aren't really suitable for my home page. But if it degenerates into something more like an actual journal, well, so be it.
