Caring means sharing

As I mentioned before, I've been using the "share" feature in Google Reader to pass along random interesting things that I read on the Web. They recently added a "share any page" feature, as well as the ability to attach notes to shared items, which means I'm even less likely to post links here unless I have something more than a sentence or two to say about a link, or if I want to spur discussion in comments here (there's no comment facility on Google Reader, but I wouldn't be surprised if they added it at some point). But you should read my shared items page if you want to keep up with my interesting links! You can add its feed to your favorite feed reader, or just add dougoshared to your LiveJournal friends list (thanks to cthulhia for adding that syndication account for me—I'm still not a paid user here). And let me know if you have a shared items feed (or something similar)!

Edit: If you use Google Reader, you can add me to your Gmail/Gtalk contacts list and my shared items will show up automatically. I'm dougorleans@gmail.com.
