Since my new TV has finally arrived (more on that later), I'd like to host a Venture Brothers marathon this weekend or next weekend. We would watch all 13 episodes from season 1, plus maybe the pilot (which is markedly inferior but still worth seeing), starting around 2pm and ending around 7pm or 8pm. Let me know if you're interested and which day(s) would be best; I want to get people first and then pick a day that works for them, rather than just pick a day and see who shows up.
For those who don't know what Venture Brothers is, here's a nutshell description: it's a half-hour animated comedy series about two adventurous teens, their eccentric genius scientist father, their brawny ex-CIA bodyguard, and a vast array of archenemies and quirky allies. In form it's roughly a parody of Johnny Quest, but it's more like a spiritual descendant of The Tick. It's rated TV-MA for graphic violence, sexual innuendo, and a generally adult sense of humor (i.e. testicle jokes—maybe "adult" is the wrong word).
The first four episodes of season 2 have already aired, but are being rerun starting this Sunday night. So this would be a good chance to catch up.
