Hm, the song I was listening to in that last post was especially apt, lyrics-wise. I've been listening to a few Charalambides albums today thinking maybe I could post a song, but I had pretty much decided that none of it was really accessible enough for my imagined audience. But, enh, what the heck, no one's forcing you to listen. And I think only 3 people downloaded the last track anyway so my audience can't really get much smaller. So, here's Charalambides, "Same Old Routine". It's 8 minutes long, so be forewarned. But it's a nice 8 minutes, if you like slow, melancholic/mournful, and droning, with multitracked female vocals + acoustic guitar + electric guitar + fuzz pedal. Which I do.
