My first meme: ranking music artists

Okay, I've never done an intentional LiveJournal meme before, and hadn't really intended to, but this one seems sort of interesting. Is the object to see whether it eventually shows up in your friends list but not directly from you (or someone else on your friends list)? Anyway, I got it from elthar [I changed "band" to "artist" to account for Bowie]:

Your meme, should you choose to accept it, is to rank the following artists in order, from COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT to COULDN'T CARE LESS. To add value to this process, you must also add one artist to the list, and remove one artist from the list, before passing the meme on (including these instructions).

This is kind of an odd list; I guess any less-well-known artists are the ones that get dropped off, which is why I added Led Zeppelin figuring it would be less likely to drop. (I dropped X, because despite having a large portion of their discography on mp3 I still haven't gotten around to listening to much of it more than once.) None of these are truly CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT nor COULDN'T CARE LESS for me; I like a number of REM tunes, but I just don't have much desire to own a whole album of theirs. I have (or want) albums from all the other artists, but only the first three are ones where I've collected (roughly) their whole discographies. Most of the ones in the middle have some albums I like a lot and some I can't stand.

Sonik signs!

I found a new (to me) Sign Of Life today, a block from my new apartment. This one is remarkable for incorporating the artist's name! (close-up) Is this the first time Sonik's signed a Sonik sign?
