My neighborhood is weird. My immediate neighbors are an apartment building, a section-8 housing complex that attracts several emergency calls per week (to our two-year-old's delight, since he loves fire trucks), and a mental health facility. Slightly larger area includes more apartment buildings, fashionable single-family homes, a dementia care facility, several grocery stores, yoga studios & gyms, and lots of gay bars. It's a weird mix of high property values and lots of crazy poor people.
