I'm not the first to have noticed the similarity of Howard Dean's scream to the Wilhelm scream, but I'm still amused by it. Maybe Dean's will find its way into sound effects libraries too.

Looks like the Dean Scream is already gaining a place among Internet memes with the likes of Bubb Rubb or All Your Base Are Belong To Us.

Hopefully that won't hurt him too much, and I'm glad that he and/or his supporters have been able to defuse a potentially embarrassing situation and laugh it off. To be honest, I think it's funny now, but I cringed the first time I heard the Dean Scream (although I didn't think the rest of his speech was that bad like everyone made it out to be).
